How to fix Obamacare

This article bashes Obamacare from every angle, even going to the extent of referring to Obama as a socialist. As of now, 17% of GDP goes into the healthcare system, Britain has similar government healthcare however they only dedicate 5%. People are now looking into alternative healthcare plans that can offer better deals. This article sides with the idea of healthcare becoming more of a consumer market in which people shop around for deals. I think this could be a good thing because prices may come down as treatments become competitively priced.

  1. I agree that Obamacare may not have been the best solution. It was rushed and there is no way the people voting on it actually took the time to read it. I think it is not so smart that the government is getting its hand in the healthcare market.

  2. I believe that American's do not have much of a say in healthcare. You made a point about how more competition would mean better prices, which was a good one. There are not a lot of healthcare options which makes people upset. That needs to change.

  3. I think that Obamacare is more about what the government and Obama want. They are controlling the policies and prices which create a monopoly even though there are other options.

  4. I think that healthcare would definitely be cheaper if it was at the hands of the free market, but I think what Obama is doing is just trying to make sure everyone has it. Whether or not that is worth the economic stress is unsure, though.

  5. I think that Obama needs to revise Obamacare and rethink his ideas more. First the website didn't work and now there are more complications to deal with as the time goes on. I think us Americans should have more of a say I. Our health care. Since we are the ones who are paying for it anyway.

  6. The whole issue of heath care being privatized or making it part of the welfare system is confusing. I think that the Whole thing needs to be redone and have more of a bipartisan bill take its place.
